Commons 2.6.1

I’ve just released version 2.6.1 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This is a regularly scheduled maintenance release.

I’ve just released version 2.6.0 of the CUNY Academic Commons. Version 2.6.0 is one of our twice-yearly “feature releases”, which introduce new functionality to the Commons, in contrast to the bug fixes and smaller improvements introduced in twice-monthly “maintenance releases”. Included in 2.6.0:

Improved richness and consistency for email notifications generated by various actions throughout the Commons
Improvements to the site creation process, to increase reliability when cloning and during template copying
Improvements to the “threading” settings for group forums
Fixed a bug that caused Courses to appear in the directory even after the corresponding site was deleted
Added the ability to add external links to a group library without sending email notifications to the group

Commons 2.5.17

I’ve just released version 2.5.17 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release features the following fixes:

Remove unneeded search icon on primary site toolbar
Improve email sending technique for group invitations
Improve positioning for anchor links on certain themes

Commons 2.5.16

I’ve just released version 2.5.16 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release includes the following fixes:

Fixed bug that caused ‘Members from my campus’ homepage feature to return incorrect results in some cases
Improved behavior of reply by email from certain iOS setups
Fixed bug that caused certain UI elements for bulk-managing of messages to be missing
Fixed bug that prevented user management of forum attachments when editing posts

Commons 2.5.15

I’ve just released version 2.5.15 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release features the following:

Added a Delete button for individual activity items
Improved fallback behavior for plugins that are critical on the primary site
Improved compatibility with bbPress and later versions of BuddyPress

Commons 2.5.14

I’ve just released version 2.5.14 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release is a major-update release for plugins and themes. It also includes the following:

Improvements to the behavior of the Unsubscribe link in certain group email notifications
Improvements to the layout of group submenu links
Fixed bug that caused layout issues due to the improper use of the ‘home’ body class
Better messaging when no events are available for a given calendar view

Commons 2.5.13

I’ve just released version 2.5.13 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release includes the following:

Fixed an incompatibility between private sites and the Random Header Image feature in some themes
