I’ve just released version 1.8.7 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release features a new embed tool for youcanbook.me, as well as a simplified interface for adding RSS feeds to BuddyPress groups.

I’ve just released version 1.8.6 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release includes fixes for a number of custom themes, two new plugins (altchecker and inaccessibility-checker), and improves avatar flow during account creation.

I’ve just released version 1.8.5 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release is a theme/plugin major update release; see https://dev.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2015/07/05/major-plugin-and-theme-updates-for-july-21-2015/ for more details. The release also includes a fix for a bug that made it impossible to place a friendship request from the Members directory, along with some UX improvements to the user profile header.

I’ve just released version 1.8.2 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This is a maintenance release, including a number of minor plugin updates, and some fixes for items in the 1.8 release.
A number of Commons themes were updated to new major versions outside of our normal major theme update schedule, due to a security issue in those themes. If you use Canvas or Simplicity, and you notice problems after today’s release, please contact the Commons staff by using the Help button at the upper right of any Commons page.
