Major Commons plugin updates scheduled for 2014-2-21

The following plugins will receive major upgrades during the maintenance release on February 21, 2014. The numbers in parentheses represent the major version series for each plugin; on the 21st, the plugin will be upgraded to the latest available version in that series, but no later.

Commons 1.5.16

I’ve just released version 1.5.16 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This is a maintenance release, with the following highlights:

  • New plugins: WP Accessibility, Mailpoet Premium
  • Removed non-operational “My Forums” link from toolbar dropdown
  • Fixed bug in group invitation sending
  • Allow “New Profile” notice to be permanently dismissed

Commons 1.5.15

I’ve just released version 1.5.15 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release is a major plugin update; see https://dev.commons.gc.cuny.edu/2014/01/05/major-commons-plugin-updates-scheduled-for-2014-1-21/ for a list of major upgrades.

The BuddyPress and WordPress system upgrades (1.9.x and 3.8.x, respectively) have been delayed until the next major update release, on February 21. Sorry for any inconvenience.
