Commons 2.6.8

I’ve just released version 2.6.8 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release includes the following fixes:

  • Improved compatibility between the Co-Authors Plus plugin and the Customizr theme
  • Allow the selection of Site Layout when creating a site to link to an existing group, in that group’s settings panels
  • Fix incompatibility between Add User modal interface and plain permalinks on secondary sites
  • Fix bug in Bravada theme that caused fatal errors when generating bylines for certain user types

Commons 2.6.7

I’ve just released version 2.6.7 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release is a major-update release for plugins and themes. It also includes the following fixes:

  • Improved compatibility of certain HTML heading tags when using the ‘code’ view on forums
  • Fixed bug that caused certain invitations to secondary sites to fail
  • Fixed character encoding bug that prevented certain forum topic subject lines from being rejected
  • Improved behavior of “default to private” blog post behavior when using the Classic Editor

I’ve just released version 2.6.6 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release includes:

  • Improved compatibility with WP 5.9+ changes to login screen
  • Improved appearance for 2FA method management
