I’ve just released version 1.8.14 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release updates a number of plugins and themes. It also includes the ability to embed videos from https://videostreaming.gc.cuny.edu, by pasting a video URL onto its own line in the WordPress post editor.

Commons 1.8.11

I’ve just released version 1.8.11 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release is a major-theme-and-plugin release, which includes a major version upgrade to WordPress (4.3.x).

A number of notable fixes in the release:

  • Improved Quick Link flow so that users automatically receive links
  • Fixed bug that prevented users from downloading iCal file related to non-public events
  • Fixed incorrect event permalinks in activity streams

Commons 1.8.9

I’ve just released version 1.8.9 of the CUNY Academic Commons. This maintenance release features a few important fixes:

  • Fixed email notifications for events created in private groups
  • Prevented auto-linking in certain portfolio fields
  • Fixed bug that prevented new Quick Links from being saved
